Seven Days publisher Paula Routly featured our giving circle in the weekly’s Aug. 20, 2025, edition as part of her popular “From the Publisher” column.

Paula wrote that after we boosted the paper’s investigative-journalism fund to the tune of $15,000 and she learned more about our work, she decided to join the group herself. Then, just after her piece hit the stands, new members started pouring in to our circle. Our membership grew by 25 people — 20% — in just 10 days, bringing our total to 250 generous souls by Sept. 1.
